Why do the asians always get the short-end of the stick? Surely cricket is more popular amongst asians than the english and australians. But again and again EA sports come up with a load of crap.
Being
Pakistani myself i was excited about the game before its release but now im disappointed. I understand that the english were the pioneers of cricket but the least they can do is make some asian players look realistic.
Tendulkar has a moustache, Harbhajan Singh and Inzamam-ul-Haq havent got a beard and most of the asian players look nothing like their real life selves. AND on the other hand you have every english and australian player looking truly realistic. Its almost as though EA are saying, that the english or the most important and well quickly do a 2 second job on the asian teams. SICKENING THIS!
Then the gameplay, the batting is just too difficult especially in the ODIs. In test matches you can afford to play a few lofted shots because the field is aggressive
but in ODIs you have no chance.
On the other hand the bowling is too easy. I played as Pakistan and got India out for 55 in both innings of a test match (i dont mean to disrespect the indians but you do get my point).
Then the stadiums. Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka all have one stadium while the english and australian get to choose between 5 or 6 stadiums.
All i can say is that just hope Brian Lara Cricket 2005 is better.
