Eee Books!! Keep me away from books (not my syllabus books, I always scored passing marks in my academics :o)), till I read my first book “If Tomorrow Comes – Sidney Sheldon”… all thanks to SS and a friend who used to pester me to read just one book by SS. Now I can’t imagine life without books… not that I read too much … but as and when time permits or I get bored of loneliness…I surely try and grab a book

Is it E-book or Paper book who cares? Why debate on which is better? Why debate on which is bad? Why not just read and be happy? Why Why Why… ok getting back to the topic…

~!!~ Is it E-book or Paper book who cares?

What we get is…

=!= To read some stuff which is of our interest and we enjoy reading it.

=!=A good companion who won’t bore you and if it does bore, you can just put it off.

=!= Giving happiness to others by keeping our “MouthShut” and not bothering them specially if you are getting on their nerves lolz!!

~!!~ Why Debate on E-book or Paper Book which is better? Each has its own good …

* E-Book

=!=You have completed the task assigned to you in half the time allotted to you and now you are in no mood to do more work but wanna show your boss how busy you are… just seriously read a E-book (o my god I am dead my boss just came and saw what I am… )

=!= If your hard disk is not already filled with e books ;o), download books on all the topic of your interest and read at your own leisure time (instead of reading/rating and writing reviews on MS, why don’t you download some good books and read? ;o))

=!= So your hard disk is full haan, no problem just delete books you have already read and Store new books you have not yet read.

=!=Hmmm you remember having read it in some book, but don’t remember which it was :o( You can Search the entire hard-disk and get the phrase or book you were searching for.

=!=Huff!! The font is too small and it’s getting difficult for you to read… no problems, just Modify and Enhance the font size or color or just whatever suits you the best. :o)

* Paper Books

Books are not made for furniture, but there is nothing else that so beautifully furnishes: Henry Ward

A well stocked book shelf in your room will speak for itself and enhances the beauty of the room.

=!= Read at leisure, sleeping at home while traveling… do I say more?

=!= Feel and Smell (of new pages) of holding the book and reading

=!= Marking on pages the words (to increase your vocabulary)and Write Meaning on the corner,

=!= Carry it anywhere, even the loo. Try carrying your computer here ;-)

=!= You have read your collections of books and now… now what? Exchange it with your friends/relatives and get other books.


~!!~ Why Debate on E-book or Paper Book which is Bad?

Each has its own bad points

* E-book

=!=Yes continuous staring on the screen will Strain your eyes… so take a break after every half an hour or so.

=!=There is always a fear of getting caught reading in office ;o) so take care of sitting on the corner seat from where your desktop could not be seen from any angle ;o)

=!= Now you are sleepy but want to complete the book you started … just shut down the comp and go to bed as you know you can’t take it to bed with you. Why the hell you want to take computer to bed… ;o)

=!= Can’t move around with it as I mentioned above try carrying your computer to the loo ;o)…

=!=What you were just reading the book and the power goes off and so does the PC… can’t help dude!! Either put PC on battery or pay your bills on time…lolz!!

=!= PC conks off… yes it does at times… hope you have applied for AMC, no?? Then find someone to check the problem with your pc.


* Paper Book

=!=Hope you are earning good money or getting a good pocket money? Check your pockets before going to a book shop it does make your wallet light… Costs good amount

=!=You completed reading your stock of books, read all books your friends are having and have got your books back… now what? Just keep it in show case … of course you can read it again after 2 years…

=!= Oops!! Just dropped the book and some of its pages are spoiled :o(

=!= while reading I had fold some pages to dog ear and the binding has come off some pages are torn thanks to the Mumbai local trains :o(

=!=Try reading Bhagwad Gita or read any fat bulky book while lying down

Why not just read and be happy?

Who cares if E-book or paper book which is good which is bad, both are equally enjoyable and fun…

Why not enjoy both and see how they can compliment each other…I completed “The Time Machine” reading half at office on my laptop-“E-book” as I cant read Paper book in office ;o) and half at home lying on my bed –“Paper book” as I cant lie on my bed and read the book on laptop… ;o) so just enjoy reading!!
