E-Books vs Paper Books
May 22, 2017 12:56 PM 2282 Views

This is one of those conflicting topics to discuss upon where most of the people must be in favor of and many would be against it.

Everything has a boon and a bane. So considering the two- paper books and e-books, what I feel is that paper books are far better than E-books. According to The New York Times, e-book sales have been falling in 2015.

Before I talk about advantages of Paper books I want to take all of you to the era where there was no such thing known as E books, even then great personalities did wonders in the field of science such as Einstein, CV Raman, Galileo, Michael Faraday and many more. Many poets like Rabindranath Tagore, Bhabananda Deka etc. expressed their thoughts on a piece of paper which the world still remembers.

Now let me discuss the importance of paper books over E-books:-

1.It is scientifically proved that Paper books helps to retain things in memory for a longer time as compared to E-books.

2.You can gift paper books to your friends, relatives which stays with them forever.

3.You can edit as per your requirements without any restriction.

4.Most importantly it does not harm your eyesight.

5.It also acts as sleeping pill for many people.

As I said for everything, there are a few advantages and some loopholes as well. So some advantages of e-books which act as disadvantage to paper books are its price and environment-friendly features. Therefore, paper books are a good source of knowledge when it comes to comparing between paper book and e-book.
