I've always loved new books, ever since I've been aware of books. For a long time I've thought that paper books are irreplaceable by ebooks. This made me reject ebooks essentially without trying them. I, accidentally, started reading ebooks with a preconceived mindset that I'm not going to like the experience. But the more I read an ebook, the more I started liking them, so much better than paper books and so much flexible. I could change the fonts, the size, colour of the page, colour of the alphabets, highlighting points and marking is so much easier once the hands on experience comes to you, making notes on the sides is added advantage because they appear so much cleaner on the ebooks. Of course you need anti glare screen and glasses to protect your eyes from long term reading which can cause stress to your eyes but then stress to eyes is caused by paper books too. You don't have keep the lights on to read an ebook. You need to choose a comfortable screen size to suit your comfort level and make it handy for yourself(variety of choices are available). Extra baggage is done away with while your travelling regularly if you are using ebooks. If you are a frequent traveler as I am, you'll understand the pain of even a little extra baggage that can be your paper book. All in all, I vouch for ebooks. Most probably your haven't given it a chance and hence you aren't aware of the experience it can give you. Also you'll be contributing towards saving environment. Go for ebooks, you'll fall in love with them just as easily as the paper versions. Try it, it's a matter of habituation and conditioning since times immemorial.
