Cleansing Action:

As we all know dry cleaning can be very expensive. I really hate clothes that have to be dry-cleaned. I try really hard not to buy those types of clothes. I hate hand washed clothes also! However I do have a few dresses that I wear to church that have to be dry-cleaned (so the label says) and every once in a while I would take those dresses into the cleaners.

The cost of dry cleaning is really ridiculous and most of us can agree on that point. However there are some people that live by dry cleaners, and I suppose those dry cleaners are happy people. I really can’t afford the bill that comes along with dry cleaning, the last time I used a cleaner it cost me over $30.00 and I nearly choked to death after hearing the cost! I understand that there are some clothes that dry cleaners need to clean for you, clothes like pure silk, or furs, or leather, but since I don’t own any of those type of clothes and most likely never will. (I lied I do have a leather jacket.) Some times I would take my dresses and put them in the bathroom and run the hot water so that the steam would help to clean my dresses. Isn’t that what dry cleaners do mostly anyway is steam clean? I would then take my iron and press my dresses on low heat and they would look good as new. Sometimes I would take them and hang out in the sun for about an hour and get the same effect. (Notice I said the word “would” in these sentences!) I so many times in my life wished for a product that would allow me to dry clean my own clothes. And guess what, finally someone heard me! Procter & Gamble invented Dryel® just for me. Okay for other poor souls out there that hate to pay for dry cleaning this product was made for you as well! Let me tell you I danced in the isle of my local Wal-Mart when I spotted this product. I couldn’t believe it! Here, finally was a product that was claiming to dry clean in my dryer my dry clean only clothes! I was really excited about it. My husband came upon me dancing in the isle and asked me what I was doing? And I looked at him and said, “Look here baby, someone finally got smart! And made me a dry cleaning product that I can use at home!” “That’s nice honey, now get it so we can leave, I hate shopping and you know it!” “Yes dear” I said. I could hardly wait to try Dryel® when I got home. I was very impressed indeed with this product! And I went on a dry cleaning extravaganza.

(Let me say here, I have put all the types of clothes in the Dryel® bag and have been very satisfied!)

What you get with Dryel®

The package is an oblong carton with green and white writing. The kit contains a dryer bag that will hold up to 4 garments. Stain remover, soft pads to assist in removing stains, and 4 dryer activated cloths, enough to do up to 16 garments. The lid is a green plastic cover that fits right on top.

Directions

Load the dryer bag with 4 garments of clothing. (clothes must be able to tumble freely.) Use only the specially designed Dryel® bag. Open pouch, (that contains the dryer clothes) unfold the moist cloth and place in bag. Seal bag by pressing closure strips together. Tumble in your dryer for 30 minutes on medium to high heat. Timed setting. Hang garments promptly to help wrinkles fall out. Throw cloth away after each use. Save Dryel® bag for next time. If there are stains on any of your garments you take the soft pads that come with the Dryel® and insert them underneath the stain, and then press the tip of the stain remover on the stain, gently rubbing the stain remover, working from the outside of the stain toward the center of the stain. (Always test an area of the garment that cannot be seen for colorfastness.) Continue to apply the stain remover until the stain is gone. Please note: not all cleaning products works on all stains. Please refer to the directions for further usage of the stain remover.

How I feel about Dryel®

I love this product, make no mistake in understanding that! LOL! It really works. I have to admit though, with my blouses, since they are not thick in fabric I have added up to 6 per bag and have gotten the same result. With my 2 piece suits I will put just the two, the same with my husbands suits. With my daughters blouses that have to be hand washed I will use Dryel® on them, if there are no stains. Then I hand wash them. I also admit that with thinner fabric clothing I will use a normal dryer sheet in the bag, damping just a very little bit, and get the same effect. I do this, when there are no stains and the blouses just need a little freshening up. For me this was one of the best products that Procter & Gamble ever come up with. I trust the name as I do with so many of their products and I use it all the time. I have to say here that I am very satisfied with the results that I have gotten with Dryel® I hope that this has helped in some kind of way. God Bless!
