I got my lipid profile done few month back at Vasantkunj new Delhi. The guy came in the morning and took sample. Gave report for hemoglobin lipid, ESR and kidney function and handed a bill of 3500/- and started calling for payment even before sending the report. Last month, I did similar test done with many additional tests for blood at Apollo clinic for 2000/-. In addition, ecg, urine test, cardio stress test, dental also done. Plus free b/fast, test for diabetes and consultation/ recommendation from three docs on reports and consultation of nutritionist. and No, its not some discount offer...
I found out from the mkt now and thyrocare and religere are all in this range. In fact, thyrocare does similar test, what Lal has done for 1500/- only. Less than half. and dont get tricked by quality talks. Just look at the reports all are similar. I have personally seen the thyrocare or Appolo lab facilities, they are good. Clearly, Lal path lab is looting and worst lab around...
