This review is drafted on humorous lines and may not give you full fledged review of the movie. I’m not a regular movie buff and I saw Don very recently, that too accidentally

Most of you have already seen this movie so I’m assuming you’re aware of basic story line. After watching the whole movie I have following observations:

1. The DVD containing sensitive business contacts passed many hands during the movie. Why is that no one thought of making a copy of that DVD?

2. When Don jumps off the plane (while he was being shifted to another secure jail) his parachute was blue in colour and when he landed it was red in colour.

3.If you have a gun in hand you’re supposed to shoot. But most of the characters were more interested in delivering lectures with the gun drawn out (Well, this is typical in 99.99% of hindi movies)

4.Original don kills Vijay and takes his place. How original Don did came to know about Vijay’s nephew who was admitted to an international school by D Silva? ( I can’t recall any conversation what might have resulted in Don becoming knowledgeable and be in a position to identify that boy)

(Update: Parnil in his comment states point 2 and 4 above are invalid. I’m not in a position to cross check that at this moment so leaving it to reader’s descretion.-end of update)

The character I liked: There’s one character I liked in the movie: This character is one of Singhania’s assistants. Remember the hotel scene where D’Silva arranges for poisoning of Singhania by adding poison in his drink? Think of the person who initiated the shootout there. One of the Singhania’s assistant sees something near abdomen of a hotel servant and immediately realizes he is a cop/enemy and next second his gun was out and shot was fired. I like this character the most in the entire movie. He could have chosen to give big dialogues but rather he acted almost instantly. I like that.

Instead of copying Matrix font and animation they could have done something unique.

Movie is a good time pass. But doesn’t excite those who have seen better action packed Hollywood films. No harm watching and does entertain the audience to the worth of their money.
