Well, finally the movie’s DVD is out and I saw the movie. I am really sad that I did’nt watch the movie in theatre......coz I believed in various sites reviews(indiafm and rediff)......whats happening to the choice of expert review writers in India. First I want to comment on their reviews.

1. Indiafm said that the movie has many loopholes...... i cant find any?.....indiafm review said- "how did don killed kamini, when there were no bullets in the gun"....man get real.....he takes her in the lift he can choke her....or may be he has don had some knife with which he could have stab her or may be he had hit on one of the 36 parts of the body with which a person can die....it seems that remakes are not acepted in India.

2. Many reviews said that SRK’s acting as Vijay was not real....man it was really good and comic...and the way SRK has put the innoence in the charactor was great.....and after he beomes don it was purposefully done a bit artificial coz it was don acting as Vijay.

And not to forget indiafm reviews on Dhoom 2 giving 4.5/5...i will tell u countless loopholes in da movie.

Now back to da movie.....

The movie has the same basic plot but with many twists which makes a lot different from the original...which leaves very less scope for comparisons. The movie seems to slow in the preinterval part but its not like that....its actually you already know that part from the old Don. But as the movie progresses the story is entirely different and much more stable and logic not like typical masala stuff with so many zip-zap and illogic situations (Dhoom 2 also included). This movie looks truly international. There were many situations where you can clearly make out that Vijay is Don. For example:
1. When Vijay calls De’Silva saying about bringing back his memory.....there is a TV in the background and Tom & Jerry is going on in the TV. Remember Don loves Tom & Jerry.
2. When Vijay goes to meet Deepu he does not recocnize him.
3. When Malik(Om Puri) tells Vijay in da jail that De’ Silva is dead there is a sudden happy expression on his face then it changes to sad.

Performance:
Booman Irani has done a really good job. His ating as DeSilva or Vardhan is extremely good.
Arjun Rampal is excellent.
All the actresses are efiicient.
But the man who made it all.....Shah Rukh Khan......He is a superb actor......His acting as Don is marvellous....very different....stylish and he is the only actor who could have done it this way. As Vijay he was perfect comedian...... He deserves best actor award.

The action is extremely well and realistic(not like unrealistc Dhoom2). The end is good.

Overall this is one of the best movies of 2006 and all time.

Indiafm have dissaponted me.
