i heard loads of bad comments on this movie & what was not very keen to see it, but I am glad I did it. The new ’Don’ rocks. I can’t see any similarity or repetition from the old Don. Every scene has been directed with perfection, the actors are wonderful & somehow manage to create an identity of their own instead of merely copying the original characters. Kareena is more sensuous than Helen in the new action packed "yeh mera dil.." Priyanka is no Zeenat, but as an urban/fighting/wild cat she steals the show. Shah-rukh is miles ahead of Amitabh in both dialog delivery & intensity of performance. By the way I wonder how can a 40+ guy still look so attractive & charming?? The song ’Khaike paan banaras wallah.." has been choreographed well & one feels like swinging with king khan on the beats...

What beats me that though the story starts similar to the original piece but moves in completely different direction & that’s where the genius of Farhaan akhtar lies. I think he is a brilliant director & I really liked ’Lakhshya’.

The dialogs are refreshing, the end is a real bouncer & watch out for sharukh & his coolest dialog in the movie "Mujhe jungli billian bahut pasand hain...."

Morale of the story: sometimes remakes & sequels are better than the original.
