Well there have been countless reviews written on this movie i don’t want to waste your precious time repeating the same storyline all over again. i just want share some things about this movie

to start with Shahrukh Khan dosent have what it takes to be a Don. having said that i must add that im his fan. now coming back to the movie.
Don Shahrukh Khan is surrounded by such unattractive and i would say ugly women its a pity that Shahrukh Khan has so little choice of heroines in fact Bollywood is full of good looking men and not so good looking women barring Ash and Kareena.
Priyanka Chopra looks like a typical small town behenji and is no match for Zeenat Aman imagine how classy she was in late 70’s.
Issha Koppikar has a nice face some one who i have soft corner for but unfortunately off late she has put on decent weight and that was one of the reasons for the type of outfits she was wearing in Don.
Kareena Kapoor is one of the few good looking women in bollywood and one of my favorites but she looked awful in yeah mera dil. fat and unattractive i guess she is living in some imaginary world of chamchas out of touch with the real worldBaman Irani i feel is one the greatest find of Bollywood in recent years and i believe is immensely talented but i am sorry here is was disappointing and wasted. and some one needs to warn him that theres a danger of him being repetitive.
Pavan Malhotra is a talent actor but i feel his casting was wrong this guy is too docile to play such roles.
Om Puri was lethargic as the inter pole cop and didn’t have fire in him. and do u guys remember shetty, iftekar and other characters they commanded so much respect from audience
Music= shankar Ahsan loys music is a big let down
Direction = well Farhan Akhtar has made a commercial hit and thats important if u measure the success lekin i want to ask Farhan does he think in todays world Don is such a venerable character
it was funny to see Don of 2006 in shootout on Indian beach. that was hard to digest.
and another big question i want to ask Farhan is why did he have to show Bullock Cart when he zoomed in India from Malaysia??????????
Bottom line is no matter what the critics say Don will do good business because the present generation who are in 20’s and less do not remember the old Don and are happy with Shahrukhs histrionics.
