I have been using DISH TV for the past 1.5 years, find below my views..

Plus - Ever since the installation, there had not been any technical problems. I like Dish TV because of some unique channels which are not available in any other DTH provider like AIR DTH channels, (especially RAGAM, which specializes in allmost 18 hours of Carnatic music, that is really good, ) Hindi movie channels like Zee Classic, Zee Premier & Zee Action, these are not available with any other DTH provider. Over all experience on usage has been satisfactory.

Minus - Recharging DISH TV is a painful process.
I tried many time recharging through the Web site. But all times, when I reach the payment screen, it goes to "this page is not found".
I made payment once through an easybill outlet. This time, the outlet refuses to accept payment for DishTV since he has not got necessary commissions from easybill. That option is also ruled out.
I was not preferring to recharge through SMS since I had gone through the reviews of horrowing experiences in recharging through SMS.
Finally, I have made payment through my ICICI account, Bill payment option. God only know, when will my payment get credited to my Dish TV account. I don’t know the services will continue or it will get disconnected.

Customer care... It is better if I say nothing about them. While talking to an executive, (after long wait), suddenly the call will reach IVR , asking you to repeat the whole process, talk to some other executive, repeat the discussions again.

I am unhappy with the support, but not willing to forego the channels I enjoy in DishTV, am in a fix...
