To be honest, its a very difficult job for me to criticize someone.
But the poor support of DishTv and the tricks it uses to earn money
has forced me to specially log in here and share this with others.

Even with continuing poor support and reducing range of channels
I was continuing to use their service. But this time they have come up
with a new trick under their 25 million customer celebration scheme.
In this they force you to choose from some fixed priced schemes where
the minimum pricing is above what I usually pay for one of their packages.
They justify this by saying that it comes with few free movies that one could
watch on demand basis. What angered me most is that most of their good
movies which one would actually want to see is not available with this offer.

The other movies which come under this offer, are running most of the times
either on their on network (zee) or some other channel. So what is the advantage
that the user gets. And why this double standard of projecting this as a gift for users.

Further to this, I had some problems with a few channels. They had forwarded the
request to the local Dish Tv service center. Those guys spoke to me promising to come
to the home for servicing. Instead, I get a message saying the request has been resolved.

What a shame. Request you, if you haven’t fallen in their trap... please choose some other service.
