Awesome temples. Review on Dilwara Temples, Mount Abu

Dilwara temples of rajasthan are popular for  their beautiful artistic work located near mount abu in sirohi district, rajasthan. Mount abu is beautiful place and one and only hill station of rajasthan.

I have visited the place  around 4 years back and the memories are still remains in my mind. There were a guide with us for sightseeing.  I admire the stunning intricacy of the carving that covers every inch of the temple from doorway to dome. Each temple is dedicated to a different jain thirthankar.

Dilwara temples forms a famous pilgrimage of the followers of jainism. There were a lot of many other temples like- vimal vashi temple which is dedicated to the first jain thirthankar lord Rishabh, luna vashi temple is dedicated to Lord neminatha, pittalhar temple dedicated to Lord Rishabh, parshvanatha temple dedicated to Lord parshva and mahavir swami temple etc.

The highlights of the lunavashi is it's ceiling, covered  with interconnected marble carvings. The vimal vashi with it's beautiful white marble columns and dome is equally splendid.

Dilwara temples is one of the finest jain temples known in the world for its extraordinary architecture and marvellous marble stone carvings. The temples interior  showcases the extraordinary work of human craftsmanship at it's best.

Although the jains built some beautiful temples at other places  but none come close to these temples in terms of architectural perfection. The ornamental detail spreading over the minutely carved ceiling, doorways, pillar and panels are simply marvellous.

Dilwara temples are a popular tourist draw in this pristine hill station. If you are religious devote and simply do not to miss the opportunity of visiting places of worship on a holiday, these beautiful temples are  must visit on your mount abu tour.
