I worked in Chennai for 8-9 months and my office was very close to this restaurant Dhabba Express. Hence it was a regular eatout for me and my friends. I would certainly recpmmend this place to any guy

in chennai who is in search of good punjabi food and a respite from the omnipresent south Indian items.They have an extensive menu comprising of a lot of delicacies. My personal favorites were butter naan, chicken lollipop , and balti chicken. Apart from that they have a buffet (veg) in the daytime on weekdays I guess.That is too good with lots of sweets and some 15-18 items on offer.
The ambience is very soothing with nice hindi music(a rarity in Chennai) going on. Sometimes I have seen some live performers like rajasthani folk artists come there and perform. Overall I would rate it as a place where one would certainly like to come back.
