Cons:
Noisy ,music and open kitchen

I have been to Dhabba Express ,Cenatoph road a couple of times, and everytime its a new experience.
The place is located on a busy road, and parking is a big problem, unless its not crowded,or else you have to park your car or bike on the lane nearby and walk it down,But it sure is worth every step you take..

My most recent experience at Dhabba was last week, when i had decided to meet up a friend for lunch, she works at an office close to the place and so we zeroed in on this place.. Met her at 1pm and the two of us decided to try out the Lunch BUffet, now for just Rs 55 you get a wholesome amazing meal. The spread was very tempting although that particular day most of the items were made using Aloo. Grabbing a plate and a spoon with steaming hot jalebi’s, we made our way to the buffet spread and piled on the salad n then the roti and some daal and aloo sabzi and made our way to the open air seating area, the cement benches and seats are very comfortable and blend in perfectly with the decor, although it does get hot and the Fans that are placed does little to help. But then who cares, when your with good company!!

The food is of a decent quantity and since it was a buffet, no limits.. The music playing in the backdrop could barely be heard although my friend did claim to know some of the songs they playes..

But the kitchen on the opp side of the Buffet restaurant, should be corded off, or atleast blocked off from direct view cos it is a bit of a mess and not very pleasing to see the mess.. :)

We spent nearly 2hours picking on our food and talking and dint realise how time flew by, we did manage to try out every single item on the menu, and i have to say my most favorite Dhabba dish is Daal Makhani and roti, tastes just perfect everytime you eat it..

I would say this is a place to go to, if you want to eat good simple Punjabi, and reservations are not needed cos there is ample space to sit and enjoy your meal at..

Have a good time next time you wanna go out and eat!!!
