The Dhaba Express’(Cenotaph Road, Teynampet) Veg. Buffet is boon for youngsters. At Rs.55/- you get a full multi-course buffet.
Salads, starters like tikkas, pulao, roti, side dishes and
sweets are provided.
The food is real punjabi style and the taste is also good. Though nothing exceptional, I did not find anything negative about the food. The pindi channa and dal makhani are authentic punjabi dishes.
You can also order non-veg items, soft drinks etc. from the nearby counter.
The cons are the rush and the premises. The open-air restaruant is a no-no during summers. It will be a good ideat to erect a shamiana when it is very hot.
The food is good and easy on the pocket. No wonder it is haunted by college students and the youth.
