Well, I have stayed in chennai for a year, before being transferred to Mumbai. Being a north Indian finding good north Indian food was a problem, until somebody recommended Dhabba Express.
The
food is good and the good things don’t just stop at that, the ambience at the cenotaph road outlet is great. The Anna Nagar outlet lacks the openness, but I remember the courteos staff on Anna Nagar, who would be very prompt in their service.
My son who was just 6 months old at that point of time, took a special liking to their Jalebis. I fondly remember just driving down to their Anna Nagar outlet for one plate of Jalebis, which their staff happily made for us.
The only problem that I came across was parking at the cenotaph road outlet. If you are ready to park in shady bylanes, then that would also not be a problem.
I had family dinners as well as business lunches and did not find a reason to complain.
Overall my experience with Dhabba Express was great.
P.S: Try their Bhangra Pepsi. You will love it.
