I had not known about the place till I had visited on a friend's birthday and it turned out to be a wonderful delight. With pickle jars, brass utensils and artefacts of a typical village, the dhaba looked like a modernized version of a small road side dhaba. The waiters were dressed in village like uniforms, looked so good. The place was heavily crowded on the Sunday that we visited.
The food was served within 10 minutes of placing order. Man, the dishes were lip smacking! I don't remember having malai paneer as tasty as The Dhaba's. A single piece of paneer was huge and I bet it was not synthetic. Daal Makhni was equally good! My sister and other friends who had non veg, were at loss of words while gorging on the juicy chicken leg pieces.
The typical Punjabi food was superb and gave us no chance to complaint.
