I brought up in Chennai. Ven I was in 12th standard I got surprised to see the movies in Devi Complex it was very well maintained and one of the best theatre in chennai. Now days I am avoiding the movies in Devi because of its MAINTENANCE and staffs.
2 weeks ago I went to the movie in Devi, At the time of interval break, I went to buy some snacks I bought snacks for rupees 30,but the staff in the stall returned me only 50 rupees back only 5 10 rupees note, I asked him the clarification he added one more 20 rupees and counted again and gave it to me. I put that in purse and I was about to go to Theatre, But one of the patron asked me to count the money again because while counting the change staff dropped 3 10 rupees note. I am shocked now I have only 40 rupees change. I went to the stall Guy and asked him the change he told me that he came just now only previously one more guy was there. I Told him I knew very well I got the change from you only, He started raising his voice , I asked his manager details and I simply called my Uncle the Inspector in chennai circle and told him about the cheating, He spoke to him and I got the money back. It is not the question of money it is the question of cheating in Well established theatre.
My mood got spoiled and walked away from the theatre. I thought of lodging the complaint against that guy but my uncle told, It is already known to the theatre people but still they will do the same thing.
I am really feeling bad that in devi theatre it is happening.
