Hi all,
I am going to write the truth{@2009} as opposed to the one’s already written over here.
Me and my friends wanted to watch ‘ 3idiots’ so badly. I was assigned the job of booking the tickets. I checked for tickets at Satyam but to our bad luck or may be good;-) the tickets were not available. At last I thought of checking in sangam cinemas. Without checking the films being played I directly clicked on “Book tickets” link and was redirected to ticketnew.com. I choose film ‘3 idiots’ and booked the tickets. To my embarrassment I found out that I booked tickets in Devi Cineplex and site ticketnew.com is a common site which is linked to many cinemas in the city.
I checked the reviews in mouthshut and found out that the Cineplex is really bad. Though I checked their website and gallery( the pics seem somewhat like graphics for future plots) I was not convinced. Atlast we decided to go to the Cineplex.
The Cineplex is located near Spencers( 1 or 2 bustops after spencers). Opposite Masjid and near to Reliance Digital Showroom. The moment I entered the Cineplex all my worries about the place was washed away. It looked exactly the same as given in the gallery and with Decent service from the employees at Cineplex. The tickets are rated at Rs95, 85, 10. The Cineplex have four screens. I have only been to Devi Paradise and the one at ground floor( don’t remember what the screen name is. The Screens are really big with capacity over 300 . Seats are good and comfortable, brand new ones. The screen clarity is awesome accompanied by a very good sound effect. I sat about 15 rows from the screen almost at the centre and I had a feeling that I am also travelling with the characters in the movie. It is really good that the Cineplex even offers tickets for Rs 10( first four rows). Also the snacks are placed at a reasonable rate compared to the other Cineplex in the city. U can get a popcorn for Rs 30;-). I am not sure whether the Cineplex is recently renovated. But I am sure you all will love the place. Got check it out buddies….and please remove the misleading reviews provided earlier which might have been true at the beginning but not anymore.
