These Deutsche Bank folks are funny chaps! A few months back, they called me regarding one lifetime free Platinum credit card. I applied for the same. After a long time during which there was no intimation from them, I got a letter saying my application was rejected as I did not meet their criteria!

I was a bit surprised. I am using credit cards since 5 years, and I have never defaulted even once on payments. And also, I am having 3 other Platinum cards. So I don’t know what special criteria these guys have??

Then I also came to know from the newspapers and from Mouthshut that these guys have even asked some of their other old customers to pay up their dues by telling them that their cards are going to be upgraded, and then cancelled their cards once the dues were paid!!! So I said well then it wasn’t worth it anyway...

Anyways, was reading another review on DB credit cards, so just thought I’ll post my experience too.
