Im not allowed to use abusive words on this forum so ill keep it to the point. Deutsche Bank has the most pathetic customer
representatives i have encountered till date. Some of them do not have the basics clear on how to read a Credit Card statement. Well, I was duped to the tune of Rs 3,000 just because they mishandled a cheque payment (cheque torn and deposited). The have the most inept customer request tracking system....
I kept on calling them to reverse the charges that ensued as the replacement payment i made extended into the next billing cycle (hey, who was i to know that they would tear a cheque while depositing it?) Lah dee da di daa. Nothing happened. They kept telling me to call up after 2 days / 3 days / 5 days.......
In short, my advice to all, steer clear of this Bank. The name may entice you into expecting world class services and facilities. Au contraire, its another sham job, which puts the customer in the grinder straight away.
Expect polite curteous and absolutely non-committal communication, which leads you nowehere and ends up to your disadvantage.
