I am clueless if it kills 100% germs or offers me 100% germ -free protection .
But I know for sure when I think of dettol I immediately relate it with a fragrance that has no parallel . It lingers on for a very long time . Somehow I link this smell with freshness and hygiene, I am not sure why .
What I can tell you for sure is the liquid handwashes are not very high foaming liquids and don't give the dry skin feel after a while, which is a positive .
They also come in all sizes, shapes and colors for different skin types . With pump or without it, in small economy sachets and in oversized family size sachets/ bigger bottles .
The latest is the no-touch liquid handwash system with a clear liquid . in the original and the cucumber variants .
This works on a sensor system and the moment you keep your hands under the dispensing kit, it dispenses lavishly a lot of the clear liquid that more than enough for your hands, actually too much and that's my complaint, and I am sure, why others manipulate the kits to reduce the amount of liquid soap dispensed.
Our hands are not as big as the great khalis, why then this kit would throw the amount of soap I could possibly use on 2 or 3 separate occasions .
The kit is priced around Rs 500 which is fine as its battery operated with 3 AA batteries a part of the hand wash system plus the refill pack .
My other complaint is that since the kit dispenses way too much, the refill needs to be replaced way too often but the availability is scarce, online or offline .
*The refill was devilishly over priced and as I said needs to be replenished again and again .
The last complaint against these liquid handwashes is that they are very hard to get rid of and that means vigorous rubbing and wasting a lot of time under water .*
But the product shines despite these few minor issues . Lifebuoy is a close second among handwashes which leave your hands smelling awesome.
