Detroit is a very good cityit has every thing the looks the feel and the fun. I have flown into Detroitmany times over the years (On Northwest) and it starts out with a beautifulairport the best I call it. Then the drive to the city is one of my favoritedrives with dear trees and depending on the season snow. Downtown is beautifulwith moderately tall buildings that surround you and the architectural appealof the smaller buildings and churches are absolutely gorgeous. I have bean twoonly one sports event in Detroit the Detroit Tigers (baseball) and itwas awesome the stadium was very cool and had a lot of things to do.I like Detroit because of the weather in the fall it is so mild and so fresh.Also a nice hotel near downtown is the MGM Hotel and Casino Detroit like theMGM grand in Las Vegas except a whole lot smaller. The neighborhoodsurrounding the city is gorgeous they have the trees that are justthe right size and that old-time feel to them that I like.
