As you wanted this review, I have written it for you. Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand is about an NRI family living in London.It is focused on drama and emotions running across the family members of Pritam Singh.
Pritam Singh has been living in London for about 50 years. The main star of the program is Pammi - affectionately called Pammi- she lives in London with her family in London. She is deeply involved in family values and traditions. She experiences love when she meets Dev, in her cousin's marriage in Chandigarh, India. But, There in London, Pammi is engaged to Rohan who is a well-known doctor.
Dev decides to go to London, to find out the lady he loves. I dislike about this serial is that the main character of the serial, Pammi does not acts nicely and naturally. Apart from that, the programme's story is neither familiar nor intresting.
The Characters of the programme are :- 1)Pritam Singh- Called Bauji. He went to London in '40s to eke out a living. He settles down there and through grit and determination, builds up his restaurant empire. He is the patriach of the Singh Family.
2) Sukhwant Called Beeji. Beeji marries Bauji at a young age and helps him nurture his dreams. Sukhi, as he calls her, is his pillar of support and derives her strength from him.
3)Rajinder called Jinder. Beeji and Bauji oldest son grows up in the Britain of the '60s and takes up the reins of his father's empire. He is married to Teiji. They have three children. But Jindar had a second wife with a daughter, but it was a secret. The second wife is dead and their daughter is living with them.
4)Teiji Teiji is a woman with morals and values. . Battling all odds, she raises her children to be true-blue Indians. But, later In life, she realises that she is losing the battle which she was fighting.
5)Pammi- The oldest daughter of Teiji and Jinder. She is the main character of the program. She is typical Indian girl in her outlooks.She is engaged to Dr Rohan and is content with her family's choice? till Dev enters her life and sweeps her off her feet.
6) Rohan Rohan is a doctor in London.His mother and father died when he was a teenager, so Pritam Singh took care of the boy.
7) Dev He is a middle class boy from Chandigarh. He met Pammi in a wedding. For him, it's love at first sight, a state of mind from which he never recovers.Dev follows Pammi to London and only returns when Rohan promises him that he will get Pammi.
8) Samarjit Called Sam by the whole family.He is confused about his Indian values and his upbringing. He doesn't know whether to follow Indian tradition or to give in to Western influence.This confusion is deeply reflected in his relationship with Sonam, his girlfriend.He is the son of Teijia & Jindar.
9)Amrita Called Dingy by the family, she is the youngest member of the family. She is an aspiring photographer who changes her muse on a day-to-day basis. She is infatuated with a widower, whose son is, ironically, her own age. The story is on, with Raj(veer), Gungun and Pammi in her second birth. watch it every monday 9.00 Pm on Star Plus.
