Degree works well. Whether your anxious, physically active, or doing something extremely important like giving a huge presentation or on a big date, it will usually hold up pretty good. I often hold of using it until I know I am going to have a day in which I know I will be sweating buckets of nervous perspiration (such as in a job interview) because I have heard that your body can become "immune" to an anti-perspirant after a while. Then, it really works and I am not "conditioned" to it. (I just use a deodorant, not an anti-perspirant, on the other days.) Of course, there are some times when you are going to sweat no matter what kind of deodorant you have on. But, Degree will usually work well enough that you won't perspire through your shirt under the arms. I don't care if I am sweating when I play tennis, but when I am dressed up and have on a solid shirt I am a little more concered about it.
As for odor protection, I would give Degree about the same rating--excellent. Even after a hard day outside, I don't think I smell bad.
