It is a novel which can be considered as a thriller. it has been written by Surendra Mohan Pathak. he is a Delhi based writer who writes in Hindi language. It has been translated into English by Sudarshan Purohit. the plot of this novel moves around the robbery of a van.
It is one of The best thriller of the Vimal series. here the central character is Vimal who is indulged into criminal activities. it is interesting to see that in other novels of the Vimal series we can find this character as compelled to commit crime but here in this novel he commits the crime for his own sake. the setting of the novel is in Agra. There is another character who is named Dawarkanath and he is a gambler. he tells the protagonist about a doctor who is a plastic surgeon.
The name of the surgeon is Earl Slater. His clients are high profile hard core Indian criminals. the protagonist is suggested that he should also change his face so that he can be safeguarded by the cops. This can also benefit him in his criminal profession as he will get a new face. he is lured by ts scheme of Dawarkanath. the climax of the novel is very interesting and praiseworthy.
