I had given my car for service, I have been a very regular user of Dakshin service. I have recently observed that the price they charge in the end is more than the estimate the service adviser gives you. I have had a major repair just 4000Kms before, but still when I gave the car for a service at 76, 000Kms I got a bug bill. The sequence of events is what triggered the suspicion. The first call I got was from the service adviser saying it is a minor service should be done quickly, I told him I have a plan of driving on highway and to check the vehicle. In some time I get another call from a different service adviser saying the front breaks needs to be replaced. He gave me an estimate of Rs. 8000/- however the final bill came up to
Rs. 13, 000/-. Another colleague of mine had a similar experience. This is a recent trend, looks like they are trying to push spare parts to you.
