Bought a Daikin online from Infibeam worth 51K in mid-April to put in kids room so that low noise A.C will not deter their studies.
It took 15 days to deliver(another story!).
After unboxing by Daikin personnel, it turned out to be faulty.
For over 15 days now, the thing is setup but not working!
First they said, pipe choked, lungs choked, brain choked and everything under the sun except that A.C had a problem?
Finally they admitted that unit is bad. Apparently there's only so many excuses that someone can make?
Then they started hiding behind the fact that it was purchased online and since "you dont have a dealer bill, no warranty for you even though the machine is ours"!
Infibeam and their dealer coughed up the genuine dealer bill finally(as I said before, that's another story in itself!)
Even after getting the bill, 4-5 days of daily phone calls to their Customer Service(They're on my speed-dial now!), they have refused to answer.
As per them, they will only repair("when" is something they refuse to commit as a habit!).
, not replace the damn thing.
My kids have been sleeping in other rooms all through the summer because "Daikin uncle" refuses to own up it's problem and solve it!
After filing a consumer complaint with District Consumer redressal, at least they have started to respond to emails(still after a day's delay), but still no solution offered!
The saga still continues.
My feedback: A.C may be low on noise, but you sure need to be VERY LOUD to get anything done with them.
