My brother purchased this car in 2000, For its looks, price and economy. I Loved the look of this car, a dark green SP Model. when it looked so different to the other cars on the road. The Hyundai was Ugly at the time and we did not like it so much even if it was capable.
I started driving this car fully from 2001 to 2009. Status- SOLD.
The Like's:-
Looks a Beauty even now.
Space inside is really commendable.
Quality of equipment is Great and feels solid.
Fuel economy is good 18km/L with a/c ON AVERAGE.
The Dislike's:-
Electrical snags started acting in 2008, Had an unpleasant time replacing the fan chip every 3 weeks.
Difficult to find Spares.
Generic statements from EVERYONE:- Daewoo is gone, No more Daewoo! Very Annoying.
Driving this vehicle was a Pleasure, Smooth drive, Transmission- No Problems.
Used to cruise in it Solo or with friends, Enjoyable drive.
Buy it to enjoy the drive and as a 1st vehicle as it is available very cheap and good practice for 1st time Drivers, You will learn to maintain a Car.
