I WOULD NEVER SELL MY USED MATIZ. Review on Daewoo Matiz

I purchased,used 1999 Model Matiz SD model on 14 May 09 in Chandigarh. In spite of being an exceptional car, I purchased it just for Rs 52,000 only.

The first reason for this attractive price is the stop of production of the car since year 2002. Second ,Chandigarh is one of the biggest used car market and also known as the city of car. Also the per ca pita income is the highest in India. Elsewhere I would have paid not less than Rs 85,000!!

The car, I have been blessed with, has almost new tyres(used 25%), the battery is still under warranty(AMERON). Also, the features I got are, the Central lock and Front Power Window.

I have run 5,500 Km till date.I have received a decent mileage of 15-16 KM in the city with normal petrol and the Air Conditioner ON , normally.On the highway I guess it is not less than 24-26 KM!!

The more speed I attain the more I fall in love with this car. This is incredibly stable in the fifth gear and speed of 100+.you just do not feel that speed as you have a feeling that it can easily go at higher speeds without any hitches.

The maintenance part is not worrying, as in Chandigarh there has even a dedicated market for its spares.But I came to know from many users that most of its parts can easily be derived with the spares of Zen and Indica.

For me, it was a lottery for a new car, for which I paid the mere tax of Rs 52,000 to redeem it. I would never sell it for even a double price, as no factory in this world produces this wonderful car which has a record of holding 12 International awards in various categories in small cars.

Even today , all small contemporary cars are inspired by it. Take ,Zen Estilo and Spark for example.
