I booked a simple important document using their BLUE SERVICES with an assurance of delivery in 72 hrs and it is 8th day, the document yet to be delivered. What are the lacunae they have:
1) The receiving office does not have proper or right people to address the issues.
2) Their customer service numbers simply ring. No one to pick up.
3) Good sms message system they have incase their call center number is not addressed. The sms sent out says that we will reach you shortly. Actually it does not happen.
4) The so called managers and regional customer service centers are clueless and has no courtesy to call back when complain raised.
5) The consignment sending office does not understand the language of urgency of consignment. They take their own sweet time inspite of collecting money for special services. They follow standard routing procedure. So logistic concept is zero in DTDC.
6) The receiving office inspite of knowing lacunae of their sending office, do not bother to take corrective step.
Overall DTDC is like any of those cheap courier service provider and pls do not use their services if you have important consignment to be sent. They are surviving because of corporate account. Consumers like me should use better services like DHL/BLUE DART etc who charges you more but assure you a timely service and if not, then atleast timely response.
QUALITY OF SERVICE DEPENDS ON QUALITY OF TOOLS AND MANPOWER RESOURCES YOU EMPLOY.
