DTDC is one of the leading courier services in India but I would strongly recommend one not to opt for it. It gives just tensions and nothing else. I couriered a packet from Jaipur to Assam. They delivered it to wrong office of DTDC which was pretty far from the receivers home. When I asked to transfer to the nearest office, they refused. When I asked them to send it back, they asked me to pay additional charge. It ultimately took me more than a month to get back the parcel I had sent.
They assure on-time delivery and they do. But, mostly the sender has to be in tension. The condition of the parcel when I got was completely damaged. Many complains and mails were made I never received any response. Also, one of my courier in y family was misplaced by DTDC some time back. I had to send a Demand Draft to one of the universities some time back from Assam to Chennai. DTDC told me it would take over a month to be delivered and when I gave it through First flight, within 48 hours, I got the delivery conformation.
Please go for some other reliable courier partners like first flight, bluedart etc.
