Right from day one when I purchased the router it did not work. My numerous complaints to customer care only delayed things and added to my discomfort and harassment.
Issues:
1.The router hangs every 2-3 minutes. Customer care kept sending me new files to be updated in the router stating that sometimes their new routers have software issues but nothing got resolved.
2.Despite being a double antenna db5i N300 router, its coverage is very poor, and does even cover a distance of 3-4 meters properly. Inherently, it is a bad manufacture.
The customer care guys told me that if the problem is reported within first week then replacement is given at home but then they followed delayed tactics and kept making me change settings of the router asking me to wait for a few days to see the router response, by this time almost a month passed by and then they said that they cannot deliver a new router on site and I will have to go to the dealer for replacement.
Dlink's customer care is very tardy, unprofessional and bureaucratic. Please avoid this router and if possible the brand all together.
