I studied in this school from 6th-12th std.
The teachers here are very competent and co-operative. Especially 11th/12th teachers. They try to bring out the talents of their students instead of imparting their own views on them forcefully.
Inspite of huge crowd of almost 7000 students, the management is excellent. There are more than 200 faculty. Each class has atmost 50 students. The crowd of this school in turn helps the students to be competitive.
Every year, the city topper of CBSE is from this school. Every year, aprox 1/3rd of the students get 10cgpa in 10th and 90%+ in 12th! No student is left out and even the worst of the students passes out with more than 70%.(I have many friends from different well known school. Even though they have a class strength of 50-60 students, 10 students failed this year).
Overall, I am proud to be a DAVian.
