My Split Air Con Stopped working and with a budget of 32K I thought I will get a decent 1.5 Split air con from friendly neighbourhood Croma store at Prabhadevi.
Staff was courteous. and they offered me a good Samsung 1.5 5 Star AC little beyond my budget but stuffed with good discount. and very Installation at no extra cost and some rebate for my Old AC. Deal after replacement was priced at 35 much higher than my budget, but thought would take it and promptly paid for the same.
Get a call couple of hours later. after that. Sorry boss we wrongly sold u the AC which we donot have a stock. Summer time am stuck now with No AC. and Credit Card payment would take days for re Credit.
Thought I ll take another AC all the ACs within my budget am told ae out of stock.and only one avialable is an Inverter AC with much less discount than previous one at 45K.
Poor me with my childeren unable to bear the heat was left with little choice. but I stictly asked there would be no installation cost as they promised it would be free. to which they agreed to.
However after couple of days Samsung person came for installation and charged me RS 850/= for removing AC, Rs 700 for 1 metre Electrical Cable and Rs 350 for Plastic pipe for drainage. when I confronted Croma. after paying. they were not even appolegetic and told me I was being fussy. and treated my complain no SR10061500097 as resolved.
My Ac vendor would have taken the old Ac at higher price without any ininstallaion charges. and checked with local vendor Electric cable 1 metre and Plastic Pipe doesnot cost more than Rs 50/=
Come on I deserve better from a Tata company.
