We started with what they pompously call the world’s best nachos. Surely not world’s best but still good enough to lap up within seconds.
The nachos come with a creamy cheese sauce and is perfect with the salsa sauce that they serve. Although the cheese sauce quantity has surely dwindled over time but then again, inflation spares no one!
For beverages we ordered the lime ice soda and pink strawberry. The classic refreshing tall ice cream soda which brings the kid out in me time and again.
I also chose to have the tawa parathas with the paneer tikka masala. Nice gravy with tender paneer chunks mopped up with a nice thick paratha. Not the best offering but well worth it nevertheless.
Cream Center also offers chaat, sizzlers and sandwiches. Although neither of them have piqued my interest. Their pizzas are a decent offering as well but with other pizza chains ramping up activities, its not the most preferred option on the menu.
The one thing that Cream Center has done effectively over the years is to maintain their core client base of vegetarian diners without tinkering with their strengths.
The restaurant was always a hit with the Gujarati community who lapped up the vegetarian offerings and enjoyed the western dishes with the Indian touch.
