This has been on my list for quite some time to write about and as I look at it every day I ask myself, how much I can possibly say about cranberry juice.
I was told that it may aid in helping to fight cancer. Whether this is true or not I can't say but was told by a nurse in the hospital.
Most elderly people can not drink this juice straight and it has to be watered down or it is too harsh on the stomach.
All fruit juices are good for you and we know we should have a certain amount of fruit portions every day so drinking juice helps you to get the right amount in.
I prefer the cranberry juices that are mixed with another kind of juice. Ocean Spray puts out varieties such as cran-raspberry, cran-apple and cran-grape to name 3 and I enjoy all of those.
I also like my juice mixed with a bit of either spring water or sprite to cut down on the tangy taste a bit.
I was never big on cranberry sauce but can handle the juice without a problem and it is much better for you than a lot of carbonated beverages. It is good in the morning or even with dinner. Place some in a wine goblet and have it with a meal.
