I had recently booked both ticketing and visa for my singapore trip in April/May 2015 with cox & kings KH Road office. My flight for onward and return journey was confirmed on 24.04.2015 and 22.05.2015 respectively. When I got my visa, it was written that visa issue date was 09.04.2015 and visa valid till 14.05.2015. I was told by cox&kings that the period mentioned in visa is only for entry into Singapore and we can stay for a maximum of 30 days in Singapore.
But when I went to Malaysia for a three day trip and back on 15.05.2015 I was caught in Singapore immigration for staying beyond visa validity date of 14.05.2015. However I had to plead with the immigration officer being a south-indian coincidentally, he gave an extention till 22.05.2015 after verifying my confirmed return flight ticket back to Bangalore. Hence I could come back safely without any hazard. Besides, I had gone to Singapore for a period of 30 days without any travel insurance which later I realised how much risky it is. This also was not advised by cox&kings to me initially.
So be careful while dealing with cox&kings, Bangalore
