Even before reaching home I m writing this review only not to miss a single point.
Did book Cox and Kings European glimpse 10 days package including airfare visa lunch dinner breakfast nd even regular tips to workers and even they told this package is something u can go even without a penny(pehle kapda chale jaao) if u do not wish to try optionals. nd I assumed the same but did not take risk to go with lesser money
Day1: they write day at leisure in peris. but they r so calculative that they would keep the flight arrival in Paris at around 8-9 pm. even if it was lesser 2 tattoos came one by one telling they will take us to restaurant nd then hotel for stay. now the hotel they stamp as only Indian restaurant in Paris being run by a Pakistani nd serving sh##t like food that even beggar would once say "maaf kardo nahi kha paunga" nd we were made to eat there 2 consecutive days. first day was total waste due to arrival at 7:30 pm, their tattoo finally bringing us to bus at around 8:30 pm and sleeping at the hotel after pathetic food.
2) day 2 was mooh dikhaai rasam of our tour manager in morning after a good breakfast(I will also tell their good if it was) and visit of Disneyland nd Eiffel tower. overall a good day except pathetic dinner. but the strange thing was we were charged 50 euro per head for river Seine cruise whose normal charges won't be more than 10-15 euro I guess cause it was only a simple small boat carrying us on roof.even if I assume transportation charges might be there but 30-35 euros? Damn it. but we paid it nd enjoyed Eiffel tower at night with lightening.
3) day 3 was from Paris to Geneva with almost 450 kms of run nd lunch was packed by our stay hotel in Paris which was far better than so called India spicy restaurant nd our only question was that why was that hotel not given chance to serve us all 3 days? The speciality of Cox nd kings is they won't book a hotel above 50-60 euro per night even if it is 200-300 kms from sites of seeing.and they won't preferably get u fed in the hotel of stay even if their local vegetarian food is far better than so called shitty Indian restaurants.so after few sites in Geneva we were transferred for dinner first nd then for stay in another hotel.
4) on day 4 we were taken to glacier 3000 nd mount Cox nd kings but on this day also we were charged euro 20 extra per head for a visit to Montreux nd vevey even if there was no tickets or charges to enter the towns. by mistake I forgot my room key in door nd that mistake made me to pay euro 150(12500 rs) to the hotel, I am damn sure the key was in door only nd the hotel owner was already lurking for a single mistake by guests as I was not the only victim one other guest was also made to pay euro 100 for wetting the carpet. the excuse they make is they can't give room without carpet or with wet carpet whereas two of our guests had rooms without carpet.what it proves is that Cox nd kings after paying peanuts to hoteliers would definitely give them the chance of professional hunting nd not even interfering in any of this matter.
5) day 5 was jungfrauch tour but the height of idiotness was the tour manager himself did not know where the hotel was where he had to send the guests not attending jungfrauch as it was optional nd he made them to sit in bus or wandering on Interlaken roads in snow storm only due to miscommunication with the hotel. food on jungfrauch was good as it was made specially for all Indian tourists irrespective of the travelling company(Bollywood lounge) but as we say good doesn't last for long we got the revenge in the form of dinner but with the grace of God we already had awesome local vegetarian pizza in Interlaken.
6) on day 6 we were asked to shop in casa grande mall nd after that I have found only cheaper chocolates nd cheaper goods everywhere but casa grande. but the blunder made was we weren't taken to the weeping lion's monument and we also got to know on entering vadoos only but the excuse of tour manager was we already took 1.5 hr instead of 1 hr and foulcried of some people coming at past moment nd bla bla bla. but we missed the Lions monument that's it.swarowsky crystal museum was awesome but tour manager always kept us in hurry.
7)day 7 we headed to Pisa(Italy) after long tiring journey of 600 kms in bus nd it was something like sight seeing was only from 5pm to 6 pm.we did not like lunch nd dinner on that day also nd like neki nd pu6 pu6 enjoyed real pizzas in Italy.they don't understand English but once u make them understand what u want, u get miracles only in pizzas.
8) day 8 we were taken to Rome where the bus journey plus walking plus eating pathetic food was too tiring nd literally harassing but we kept enjoying flavours of Rome in food with our own euros literally boycotting the indian food managed by Cox nd kings. sometimes u might feel did we go to travel or eat but for God's sake it we pay in lakhs nd don't get even satisfactory food like in home or hotel we had no other options nd we were not lachaaar.
9) day 9 was in Venice nd it was also very tiring but still good except pathetic food.
10) on day 10 also out tour manager did not spare some travellers telling they did not have Milan in package nd took 20-20 euros from them. what difference did it make. we had to visit Milan nd they were in same bus only. there was no ticket there was no entry charge then why should they pay?
I have not mentioned even their pre tour management- lazy, pathetic, unexpected responses only. did not receive my travel bag they give to every traveller, got the tickets nd vouchers on last day evening. almost all hotels changes from what they showed in catalogue. asking for another copy of statement on just a day before visa appointment.
So over all I would rate in minus if the option persist nd never ever suggest Cox nd kings to even my enemies.
They should stop stamping themselves above 250 yr old company as the current owner is some Mr.kelkar from India nd adulterating the original tour facilities.
