Country club is a cheat. Offer free gifts worth penny and lure you into membership worth lakhs. I got into it. They don;t allow you to check your phone, play music in the room so that you can't concentrate. I took 5 years membership worth 1.7 lakhs. They promised to make my vacation(i already had a trip planned) awesome with their resorts, car pickups, and freebies. But when I really got into it, I understood it was a gimmick to fool people.
I indeed made a fool of myself, but the best thing I did was that I paid using my credit cards(3 of them;-). I lodged a complaint with all the three banks the same day, requesting them to cancel the transactions. With some difficulties, I was able to convince them that, this is a case of fraudulent transaction as I have not availed any services and the there is huge discrepancy in what the service provider offered initially and what is being delivered now.
It's almost a year now and I got the refunds from all 3 banks!
Don't back down people, you too can do it if you have been cheated by this fraudulent company.
And those of you who are even thinking of going to visit the scums for a free gift, please beware.
