Clothes might come and clothes might go, but Cotton World Corp is my absolute staple store. I love their cuts and styles - they are clean,

simple, classic and chic. The fabrics are great, the finish is flawless and the fits are almost always perfect - even for a plus sized woman like me. And unlike other designated plus size stores, the clothes here are not like sacks with some trimming thrown in. (and they are absolutely NOT the auntyji variety, with the mandatory floral prints, sequins and beads)

I have bought clothes from Cotton World for over five years now and some of them are still good to go; they don’t at all look old, faded or terribly out of fashion. In fact - that’s the thing I love best... CWC clothes age gracefully. A white shirt might go from being crisp and formal to casual and comfy, or a pair of olive corduroys might begin to look fashionably grunge - but that’s it. Rest assured you won’t be bodily escorted to the museum of clothes.

CWC does update its inventory every season and they always do get the really ’in’ stuff. However, rarely do their clothes look outlandish or unwearable. And this is no hip-hoppy teeny bopper store. Though there is some stuff for young people (short skirts, tees, capris), most of the clothes are better suited for people who are over 22 at the least.

Another thing - CWC clothes don’t have that very identifiable stamp like clothes from some stores do. Even if there are similarities in fabrics or colours or cuts, your wardrobe won’t look like it came out of an assembly line.

Their prices are a little on the higher side - but its definite value for money. Whether you are looking for smart casuals and day wear or easy formals - CWC is the place to go. Sadly, they have no club wear or party wear. And accessories available are limited.

Though I have never shopped there for a guy, whatever little I have of the men’s section is very smart.  Great for men who like to dress like men.

I have only seen the CWC store in Bombay and Blore - but I absolutely love the one in Blore. It’s airy, roomy and neat. And the sales staff is well informed, courteous and articulate - a rarity even in bigger stores.

CWC is my comfort zone and I L.O.V.E it!
