Story:

The title did look quite intriguing when I saw this book in my friend Homa's hands. Me being a reader of your usual fiction stories was looking for a change in my reading habits. And this book looked to be quite a far jump from my current books. when I was passing through the subways of palika bazar the other day I spotted the sequel's sequel i.e. part3 of Conversation with God. After a bit of haggling I thought ''what the hell '' and forked out 80 bucks for it(considering its condition I got quite a bargain). as I cudn't wait to get home so I beelined for the nearby Madras Cofee House (near Regal Cinema it is this old restaurant which serves sumptuous delicacies at rock bottom prices...am thinking of writing a review of this place too). And then I settled down to read this book in one of the dark and murky corners of the restaurant with the menu for occasional diversion. believe me the book is different. it actually seems as if its god talking. and the way the book has been written in an informal way is really something to take note about. in the beginning itself the author states that he is not promising u god. rather the book is a series of snippets of a man's conversations with a voice . each and every reader can take this voice as god and make his own representation of the conversation. that's what I liked about this book. it does not fall in a rut. rather it lets the user use his own intelligence so as to interpret in his own style. really makes u use the grey cells. but beware, dont try to read this book at one go. u wont be able to. iinstead u will end up muddled and get a glazed look which others around u might find abnormal. also reading it at one go will make u think too much and send ur brain into a spiritual overdrive which again is not good. plz do maintain a balance between the book and ur life. for those of u like me who have to travel in public transport for long distances everyday for work or for studies, I recommend this book for travel time. other than making u fresh in the morning...it will also impress that guy/girl u've been eyeing in the bus :)) lol . also people will try to strike up a conversation with you when they see this book coz it makes everyone curious. it did make me helluva lot curious and I am glad I got it. its been 4 months since I bought this book and i've still gone only 2 chapters into it. normally I am able to finish a 600 page in about 3 hours. but I am taking it easy with this book which is of around 250-350 pages only. enjoy it..
