ok there are tw people in this ad..vivek oberoi and ashwariya rai.its about and i think two people who fall in love with what ???????????? COKE???? huh!this is the expression i get when i watch this advertisement
and the same reaction comes from a few people i know too.some of my friends only watch it because there is ashwariya rai in it.i dont know if ive got her spelling right (please keep it under wraps i dont want a court case against me,some of them find the most stupid reasons for it).so there there first vivek oberoi who looks very interested in ash who is sitting with her friends.she recognizes him to but makes fun of the way he looks at her by saying window shopping kar raha hai bechara
now ash is going to leave and tells her friend that she will take a taxi.so what does vivek do he runs to a taxi and leaves his mobile phone in it.now why that taxi there are a million other cabs around and there is a high probabililty that she wont take that taxi.but guess what SHE DOES!well now we know vivek is telepathic.doesnt look to bright though.so now ash is on her way in that cab and she hasnt seen the phone on the seat.how could that be?the phone is really flashy so that is the first thing that catches your eye.but nope that doesnt happen.now the phone rings and ash picks it up and vivek repeats what she said earlier and then asks her whether his phone is causing a little romance to start .what ? thats the pick up line that will get you slapped across the face.then he says that she could find him at the same place and is the person who is smartly dressed and has a coke bottle in his hand.imagine that happening in real life.there are million coke bottles on every table at restraunts and shops.
anyway the phone is now returned to vivek but he expected her to come in person and give it to him.disappointed he storms off in a huff.and then gets into another taxi cab.this time ashs phone is in the car.how she knew he was going to take that cab .WOW they are both telepathic.even he doesnt see her phone on the seat.these two are as blind as a bat.so this time she calls and blah blah blah same story but this time he finds her since she is waving a coke bottle around.now it looks like they are in love.wow new movie love in 60 seconds.
the slogan to this advertisement is Piyo thanda,jiyo thanda which means drink cold (which is supposed to be coke) and stay cool.where is there any connection to this slogan and what happened in the ad.i guess coke got a little high spirited after their succes with the sprite ad.it does not have even 1% of reality in it.the advertisement looks like one big fairy tale.vivek oberoi needs to brush up on his acting because the wink he makes in the looks like it isnt even directed towards ash.the advertisement has no logic to it and leaves you scratching your head to figure out what has just happened.sorry coke fans but this is one of the saddest ads coke has ever come out with.it shows that there was not much thought put into the idea and it was done in a real hurry.
