Took my kid for a serum bilirubin test, first the one who is going to take the blood said sir please wait outside. then he locked the door baby is crying for a long time and am knocking the door and he did not open.
I should know why the baby is crying either because he is the blood too fast or bends the hand so much or whatever, if am not sure why is he crying then that creates panic.
I had shouted at him like mad and came out without taking the blood but still he made a small pinch on the right hand. Atleast we know why they asked me to stay outside but should not lock the door.
No special process for infants. They tried to use the same blood sample that they use for adults.
