Loved the location. The staff was friendy and always trying to help you.
The resort is in two parts:
-Main building
-Cottages
We stayed in the main bilding which is like a typical hotel. Most of the rooms are front facing and the ones on the first floor and above have a lake and valley view. There are a few rooms that face toward the back. try to avoid them as they don't have any view. Most of the facilities like Resturant, Spa, Soveniar shop, funzone, etc are in the main building.
The cottages are like mini hotels with 4 to 8 rooms per building spread across half a kilometer road up the mountain. For elderly people this can be difficult. Some of the facilities like children play area(not the funzone), mega chess, grocery store, adventure zone are in the cottage area.
They have an inhouse nature expert who takes early morning and evening trips into the mountains @300 per head. He is really knowledgable and the trip with him was one of our many nice memories from the trip.
The resort is about 30 min outside Munnar town with minimal facilities around the resort. You should have your own vehicle during the stay.
