Although it is a very beautiful place to visit but here are my list of negatives which discourage you to going there:
- The Resort is almost 75 to 80 Km far from the nearest railway stn and more from the Jolly Grant Airport. This takes around 3 to 3.5 hours to reach.LARGE Travel time on Road.
Solution: Plan accordingly and plan the time of day you want to travel.
- The no of turns are large/KM. Sometimes you have turn every 10 mtr or so, which makes it diffcult for the passengers to settle down. Vomiting is common issue.
Solution: Take medicine for kids and adult.
- High altitude place. So you will feel less oxygen and loose breath very easily after walking for some time. So need to take care as it could be dangerous for people with JOINT issues and HEART problems!
Solution: Discuss with doctor before planning and keep medicine if going.
- Kids/Safety. Monkeys are common and hence need to be taken care of.
Solution: Avoid kids un-mentored/alone. Maintain safe distance from monkeys.
Avoid travelling long distance when you reach there because vomiting, breath loss and tiredness comes very easily.
Avoid heavy stomach food.
In winters the paths are covered with slow, so plan very wisely as you MAY have to CANCEL if heavy ice fall.
Resort is small and little space for play and activities
Fun Zone is small.
