Club Mahindra biased reservation systems

I'm thoroughly disappointed with club Mahindra, we are members since 2002 we own a red studio apartment. the reservation system is not completely transparent, as some rooms and apartments are sold for an extra price on travel sites and travel agents.


When we call their call centre for bookings we are blatantly deny availability and they say we must call in at least 10 days in advance. as a business owner I get unexpected holidays. during my recent conversation with club Mahindra-


I spoke to Mr. Nausanth and his team members Mr. Allan, Mr Naren & Ms Rajshri all of whom accepted that club Mahindra do sell at least 5% of their inventory to non members on payment basis, they argue saying that when rooms are lying idle the cost of which would translate to the members in the form of higher annual subscriptions, also this gentleman reminded me that our member ship costed close to 2lakhs in 2002 incl interest and now the membership for the same category is 3 times higher.


But Mr. Gentleman forgets to calculate the interest on the amount paid up, he forgets that the membership fees gave them a lee way to grow to many clubs from a few clubs. the service and quality is definitely very good and there is no 2nd thought of that however the system of selling rooms to non members is a bad idea and the reason they quote to do so is cheap.


When we members are paying our subscriptions annually which takes care of the maintenance of rooms for my 7 days entitled then why should they bother of maintaining empty rooms. with a large membership base I feel club mahindra is handling the reservation system unprofessionally.


When the organisation is broad casted as exclusive membership based then they should stick to it. at this rate any member ship with club Mahindra is a shear waste of money as one can easily go online or call a travel agent book holidays with them as well as many other competitors for a far lesser price.


During season the resorts are overly booked and during off seasons the resorts are sold off. we wasted our money in this and strongly urge people who consider club Mahindra to survey and inquire fully before you go ahead. A superb product but with no assurance.
