Citibank has got the worst products and worst service ever. I use the silver card. Firstly without even my consent, they just mailed the card to my residence saying that it was a womans card and that it
was a complimentary gift card. One day when I was checking my statement online, I saw that there was an OCL charge. First I did not even understand what is OCL. I was told the charge is bcos of going Over Credit Line, so they charged me 500 bucks for that. The card limit was for Rs. 16000 and the outstanding was Rs.15,133.95. I wonder if they did not learn math or are they theives in disguise. Even the Suvidha account that they have is not of any use. If we lose the debit card and withdraw cash using cheque they charge Rs. 100. People having Suvidha account are the looted ones. They say that for convenience they provide online banking facility and do not want the customer to come to the bank. There are several other banks that provide online banking facility, but no bank charges for the customer doing a transaction in the bank branch. No mail is sent and no information is given and charges are directly levied on any facility obtained. Also when we question the charges all kinds of nonsense reasons are given. I am soon going to close the card as soon as I have enough money to repay and would never in my lifetime even look at citibank. It is the worst nightmare I ever had. The money that I ended up paying for all charges of citibank is my sweat and blood. Had I donated that equivalent money to a charity organisation, atleast I would have earned some blessings for my life.
