I have been their customer for over 10 years but today I finally started the process of getting rid of their NRI services by opening account with another bank. Citibank has ridiculous processes where any step takes 2-4 business days to resolve things.
If you raise a query online, they will respond in 2 days and then you will not have an option to followup - you will need to start a new request - 8 of 10 times their response is 100% useless.
On phone, they always take your request wrongly and then make false promises which they don't deliver against. They may send you emails as follow-up which again you cannot respond to and those email say for quick response go online for which I have already shared my experience.
Stay away from them.
